My Story
The Oak Barn Restaurant, Cuckfield Road, Burgess Hill, RH15 8RE
Friday 20th September from 10am, until the cake is gone!
It is another year here at The Oak Barn Restaurant raising money for MacMillan! A charity we are passionate in supporting each year.
Our front and back of house staff create a variety of homemade cakes to be enjoyed with our tea and coffee selection. Each year, our kitchen provides the infamous ‘showstopper cake’!
We always hope to increase our total raised each year, and each year we manage to do so! This year we are trying to do something a little different, so there will be Macmillan Games on the tables to do as well as our traditional Games which can be played, again for a donation for Macmillan.
Macmillan is 98% funded by voluntary donations so each donation made for one of our cakes is essential for their ongoing hard work to provide practical, emotional and financial support to the millions of people living with Cancer in the UK.
